The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has strictly reminded that the companies cannot force their employees to attend work if transportation is not available.
The DTI is obligating private companies to provide shuttle services for their workers, and to impose minimum health standards in picking up and dropping off individuals. The minimum health standards include wearing of facemasks, disinfection, and traveling with a maximum capacity of 50 percent.
Meanwhile, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) reiterated the bringing of basic documents as proof of necessary travel and to hasten the process in checkpoints.
