COVID-19 Response Deputy Chief Implementer Vince Dizon said the country has enough quarantine facilities but they still need to be prepared.
It’s hard to say that we have won because this will take long but now due to the cases and the number of deaths… we still cannot be complacent),” Dizon disclosed.
Dizon added that the country must still perfect the test, trace, and treat system.
In case our cases increase, we are ready to reduce it),” he said.
Based on the 10th weekly report of President Duterte to Congress, there are 3,816 temporary treatment and monitoring facilities all over the country as of May 28, and a 52,685 bed capacity.
Dizon also assured the sufficiency of medical staff in quarantine facilities, many of whom have applied and volunteered. – Report from Sandra Samala
