Pasay LGU halts 3 construction works due to violation of protocols

The Pasay City Local Government Unit (LGU) has stopped work in several constructions sites due to blatant violation of health protocols.

The Pasay City Engineering Office monitored construction sites around the area to ensure that the proper implementation of the Department of Public Works and Highway (DPWH) Department Order No. 39 emphasizing that the safety of construction workers must be prioritized.

3 of the construction sites visited by the Pasay City Engineering Office have no resumption order. They were given 5 days to acquire a permit at the city hall.

According to Engineer Johari Ramirez, continuing construction work without a permit may lead to criminal and administrative charges.
