OFWs return to their hometowns earlier than expected

In a send-off ceremony in Clark, Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) officials laud the early send-off of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) due to decentralization efforts and the increased number of laboratories in the Philippines.

According to National Task Force against COVID-19 Chief Implementer Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., the simulation for the automated processing of OFWs will be conducted on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) is also scheduled to open other international gateways that have Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) testing laboratories.
