No more purchase limits for some medical products

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has removed the purchase limit of several medical supply products.

Based on Memorandum 2036, the purchase of disinfecting alcohol, hand sanitizer, disinfecting liquid, N-95 and N-88 face masks no longer have quantity limits.

According to DTI Undersecretary Ruth Castelo, this is due to the ample supply of the said products. Companies have also assured that manufacturers can meet the demand. Panic-buying is no longer a threat to the products’ supply.
