Public health is not compromised as more establishments open

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) DTI is confident that the public’s health will not be compromised as more establishments open especially with its imposition of stricter minimum health standards such as wearing of PPEs by employees and customers entering an establishment. There is a 92% to 100% compliance rate to the protocols among businesses.

The DTI will also require a limit of 10 people per room in testing centers.

Requiring employees to wear face shields for additional protection is being considered. Secretary Ramon Lopez has stated that based on the DTI’s study, the transmission is reduced by up to 90% when people use masks and face shields.
