CSC to launch government career fair on Sept. 14

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) will launch its government career fair from September 14 to 18.

Unlike the past job fairs, the fair on September will be conducted online with 76 participating government agencies offering 362 vacant positions.

CSC Commissioner Aileen Lizada shared that the fair is free and applications are online.

“This is one of government’s efforts to extend assistance to all those nangangailangan ng trabaho sa panahong ito (who are in need of employment in this time of pandemic).”

To apply, download and answer the Personal Data Sheet from the CSC website, www.csc.gov.ph, register in Jobstreet, www.jobstreet.com.ph, and upload the answered PDS. Applicants may search for the agency and position of their choice in Jobstreet.

CSC Commissioner Lizada advises the public to grab the opportunity to get hired, be assured of a “security of tenure” and well-paid salary in public service.

However, she reminds applicants that a job in the government “is more of a calling” since it prioritizes the well-being of the public before personal interests.
