PRRD allows deployment of health care workers

President Rodrigo R. Duterte has approved the deployment of health care workers to other countries provided that their requirements have been completed as of August 31, 2020. An estimate of 1,500 nurses and other health professionals will benefit from the newly-issued order.

“Ito kasi yung mga nurses na nakagastos na para mai-process ang mga papel nila. Wala pa pong desisyon sa total lifting. Pinagbigyan lang po ‘yung mga nakagastos na sa kanilang papeles. Wala na pong pwedeng magreklamo na nagkaroon sila ng gastos tapos hindi pinayagan (These are the nurses who spent on the processing of papers. There is still no decision on total lifting. Those who have paid for their papers were only given consideration. There should no longer be any complaints on spending for nothing),” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
