TESDA Director General Isidro Lapeña announced he tested positive for COVID-19

In a statement, Lapeña said, “I had my PCR test taken yesterday as a requirement for my flight to Mindanao tomorrow and the result I received today stated that I am positive of Covid19. I am fine and I am not experiencing any symptoms.

But in accordance with our health protocol, I am now in isolation.

Those who came in close contact with me are advised to also go on isolation in accordance with health protocol.”
