Malacañang: Mass gatherings are not yet allowed


Malacañang reminded the public regarding the government guidelines against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) after several violations were recently reported in various areas of the countries.

According to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, mass gatherings are not yet allowed in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and only a maximum of 10 persons are allowed to get together in the said areas while only a maximum of 50% capacity are allowed in Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) areas.

The Palace asserted that everyone is equal when it comes to the government’s rules.
Meanwhile, Sec. Roque assured that the new quarantine protocols will be announced before February 1. – Report from Mela Lesmoras
