In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, “Ramil” was last observed at 240 kilometers north of Pagasa Island in Palawan and headed for Vietnam. Despite “Ramil’s” exit, PAGASA said some parts of the country will still experience rains due to the northeast monsoon affecting northern Luzon.
Areas affected include the Cagayan Valley region, the provinces of Apayao and Ilocos Norte. The rest of Cordillera and Ilocos region will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.
Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to “Ramil”. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Wind in Palawan, the rest of Luzon will be moderate to strong and coastal waters will also be moderate to strong. Sea travel is risky over the northern and western seaboards of northern Luzon. (/PNA)
