₱5.3 – M ecstasy party drugs seized in Pampanga

“The successful joint anti-illegal drug operation in Mabalacat proves our enhanced cooperation and commitment to curb the illegal drug situation in the country” said PNP Officer-In-Charge Police Lieutenant General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar after joint operatives of PDEA, Bureau of Customs, Philpost Inspectorate Service with the Philippine National Police were able to seize more or less Php 5.3 million worth of Ecstasy tablets in Mabalacat City during a “controlled delivery” anti-illegal drug operation on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Eleazar disclosed that AGATHA LAVADIA PALEN was arrested by authorities at Mabalacat City Post Office, 2nd floor Mabalacat Market, Brgy San Francisco, Mabalacat City.

Seized from Palen were 3,100 pieces of Ecstasy with current street value of Php 5,270,000; One (1) Unit Iphone7 cellular phone; One (1) Bureau of Internal Revenue ID; One (1) Philpost Official Acknowledgement Receipt; One (1) Registry Notice; One (1) Authorization letter; One (1) Photocopy of Zhyrelle M. Ancheta ID; One (1) Parcel Delivery Notice and One (1) Signature record from courier service.

Appropriate charges for violation of Section 4 (importation of illegal drugs) of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act) are being prepared against the suspects.
