BFAR offers affordable fresh fish to donors of community pantries

The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) will support emerging community pantries nationwide by offering affordable fish supplies for donors.

The bureau said it created a program called “Oplan Isda” that will provide affordable fresh fish to those who want to donate to community pantries. The prices of the products will not be far from the farmgate price since they will be coming directly from the producers.

Among the products under the program are bangus and tilapia from Zamboanga City.
