Asian Boxing Championships to change venue

The venue of the Asian Boxing Championships, originally to be held in New Delhi, India from May 21 to 31, will be changed.

According to a source of PTV Sports, the Asian Boxing Confederation (ABC) is now looking at  Dubai or Abu Dhabi as possible alternatives to hold the tournament.

This decision was made due to the continuing rise in the number of covid-19 cases in the Asian city. Just last week, India recorded a single-day high of more than 300,000 cases.

The transfer of the Asian Boxing Championships setting is expected to be announced any day soon.
