DOLE: Vaccination of economic frontliners will aid in raising the Philippine economy

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Monday said the vaccination of economic frontliners will ensure the rise of the country’s economy.

DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III also thanked all workers for their hard work.

“Ito po ay ginagawa natin hindi lamang bilang pagkilala sa napakahalagang kontribusyon ninyo sa ating ekonomiya. Ang pagbabakuna sa ating mga economic frontliners ang siyang susi upang ang buong bayan ay makaahon mula sa pagkalugmok,” he said during the commitment ceremony and symbolic vaccination of the A4 priority group at the SM Mall of Asia.

Meanwhile, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez expressed his joy in the vaccination of economic frontliners.

“Ang maganda dito, na-expand natin ang definition – practically all workers. Lahat na po ay masasama. Itong sinasabi namin na shot in the arm, kailangan talaga ng ating economic frontliners at kailangan din ng ating ekonomiya,” he said. – PTV News/PG-rir
