PH receives another 1.5-M Sinovac doses

The Philippines again received a bulk of procured Sinovac vaccines from China on Thursday (July 29) morning.

The 1.5 million Sinovac doses aboard the Cebu Pacific flight 5J 671 landed in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 3 at around 7:30 a.m. The vaccine arrival was welcomed by some key officials of the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Management of Emerging Diseases (IATF-EID) such as vaccine czar Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.

In relation to this, another one million Sinovac doses are expected to arrive in the country on Friday (July 30).

Meanwhile, the  National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 announced that the Philippines has recorded a total of 18,174,405 administered doses as of July 27, where 11,336,003 were administered as the first dose and 6,838,403 were administered as the second dose.
