NTF says experts recommend vaccination of minors below 12 years old

National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 medical adviser Dr. Ted Herbosa on Wednesday (Nov. 24) said some experts have suggested the vaccination of minors aged 11 years old and below.

So far, only one country, the United States, has started the vaccination of minors below 12 years old, after being approved by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

Herbosa said Pfizer has made known of its intentions to apply for the vaccination of kids below 12 years old.

– PG – bny
