GSIS members, pensioners advised to update contact Information

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) is urging members and pensioners to immediately update their contact information such as cellphone numbers and email addresses in their GSIS records.

According to GSIS President and General Manager Rolando Ledesma Macasaet, active members may update their contact numbers through their agency authorized officer (AAO) while pensioners may send it through email to their handling GSIS office (see https://www.gsis.gov.ph/advisory-on-the-new-email-addresses-of-gsis-offices/?csrt=15698347652773573845).

Contact details may also be updated by both members and pensioners in the GSIS Wireless Automated Processing System (GWAPS) kiosk.

“Nagpapadala kami ng lahat ng impormasyon tungkol sa application ng members at pensioners sa text o email. Kaya nakikiusap kami na kailangan pong iupdate ninyo ang inyong contact details para maiwasang sa iba maipadala ang mga impormasyong para sa inyo,” Macasaet said.

GSIS is also calling on AAOs as well as Electronic Remittance File handlers to transmit within the month all membership updating request forms on change in personal information, contact details, salary, and agency among others.

To know more about the latest programs and services, members and pensioners may visit the GSIS website, www.gsis.gov.ph or GSIS Facebook page, @gsis.ph; email [email protected]; or call the GSIS Contact Center at 8847-4747 (if in Metro Manila) or 1-800-8-847-4747 (for Globe and TM subscribers) and 1-800-10-847-4747 (for Smart, Sun, and Talk ‘N Text subscribers).
