The Philippine government continued on Friday (Dec. 31) its relief and housing operations following the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.
The National Housing Authority held the turnover ceremony of the emergency housing assistance worth P50 million in Bohol. This project will help thousands of families whose homes were destroyed by Typhoon Odette.
In Zamboanga del Sur, a total of 1,175 families affected by the strong rains last November received their family food packs from the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 9 Field Office. The assistance was worth P642,125.75.
In Bataan, the local government unit of Hermosa gave financial aid to more than 300 scholars, with each scholar receiving P4,000 each. (PTV News)/PG-ag
