Prov’l buses in NCR not required to use integrated terminals

Provincial buses will no longer be required to use the Integrated Terminal Exchange as the central hub for transportation in the National Capital Region (NCR) starting March 24, Malacañang said Friday (March 11).

Deputy Presidential Spokesperson and Communications Undersecretary Michel Kristian Ablan said the Inter-Agency task Force (IATF) said the IATF Resolution No. 101, Series of 2021 shall be rescinded as more areas transition to Alert Level 1.

The resolution then prohibited bus companies or public transport to use their private terminals.

“Para sa National Capital Region, lahat po ng bus na biyaheng pa-probinsiya ay hindi na kinakailangang gumamit ng Integrated Terminal Exchange as the central hub for transportation,” he said.

Earlier this week,  the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) opened all pre-pandemic regional routes for approved units. AG-rir
