Warm, humid weather to prevail across PH

By Ma. Cristina Arayata | Philippine News Agency

MANILA – Warm weather with chances of rain showers will prevail over the entire archipelago, the weather bureau said Wednesday, March 16.

In its 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said it sees no weather disturbance and low-pressure area (LPA) to affect the country in the next three to five days.

“Due to the easterlies as the prevailing weather system, we could expect that it will be warm and humid, especially until noon,” PAGASA weather forecaster Ana Clauren said.

Rains and thunderstorms may be experienced for a short period in the afternoon or evening.

“So don’t forget to bring an umbrella to protect yourselves from these possible rains,” she added.

Meanwhile, the temperature in Metro Manila, the Kalayaan Islands, and Tuguegarao will reach up to 33°C; Puerto Princesa, 32°C; and Laoag, 31°C.

Zamboanga and Davao’s temperature will be up to 33°C; Iloilo and Cebu, 32°C; and Tacloban, 31°C.

Moderate winds and moderate seas will continue to prevail over northern Luzon.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) – bny
