Palawan most wanted gets arrest warrant, cake on b-day

The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested Palawan’s most wanted on April 19 afternoon over illegal firearms possession and frustrated murder charges in  Brgy. Caticlan, Malay, Aklan.

The 44-year-old accused, identified as Allan Barrientos Delos Angeles, has a standing warrant of arrest for the crimes of illegal possession of firearms and frustrated murder with recommended bail of P60,000 and P200,000 respectively for his temporary liberty.

The arrest warrant was issued by  Judge Adelardo Escoses of Puerto Princesa Regional Trial Court Branch 51, which led to the successful operation of Altavas Municipal Police Station.

The PNP said the accused was surprised with a birthday cake upon his arrest when police personnel learned of his April 19, 1978 birth date.

Currently, Delos Angeles is under Altavas PNP custody pending his turnover to the court. – AG-gb
