The University of the Philippines (UP) released on Tuesday, May 31, the results of its college admission results for the academic year 2022-2023.

In a Facebook post, UP told applicants “to visit the application portal according to the time slot corresponding to the first letter of their surname.”

A to F – 8:00 a.m. to 10:59 a.m.
G to M – 11:00 a.m. to 1:59 a.m.
N to S – 2:00 p.m. to 4:59 p.m.
T to Z – 5:00 p.m. to 7:59 p.m.
A to Z (free for all) – 8:00 p.m. onwards.

Applicants can access the result at https://upcollegeadmissions.up.edu.ph/ using the username and password used during the application period.

UP received and evaluated over 100,000 college applications.

For two consecutive years, UP suspended the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT), citing “uncertain trajectory and uneven spread of COVID-19” in the country.

The state university instead administered UPCA, an admission test based on applicants’ rank, campus quota, and/or cut-off grades.

Other universities such as Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, and University of Santo Tomas also suspended their own annual college entrance examinations. – ag
