Special non-working days declared in select areas for anniversaries, festivals

Malacañang has issued several proclamations declaring several special non-working days in some regions, provinces, and towns.

Proclamation No. 3, signed on July 8 by Executive Secretary Victor Rodriguez, declares July 14 a special non-working day in Guihulngan City in Negros Oriental in celebration of its charter anniversary.

Proclamation Nos. 4, 5, and 6 declare July 15 as a special non-working day in the Cordillera Administrative Region for its 35th founding anniversary celebration, in Mauban, Quezon for the the “Araw ng Mauban”, and in Calabanga, Camarines Sur for its founding anniversary. 

July 19 was also covered by Proclamation No. 7 for Digos City’s Padigosan Festival celebration in Davao del Sur, and July 21 under Proclamation No. 8 in Mabalacat City, Pampanga for its cityhood anniversary.

The government also included July 23 under Proclamation No. 9 for the celebration of the 62nd charter day and 43rd Kaliga Festival in Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental.

Proclamation Nos. 10 and 11 likewise declare July 25 a special non-working day for Tanjay City’s Tanjay sa Sinulog Festival in Negros Oriental, and Santiago City’s Aggaw na Naturales Day in Isabela, respectively.   –ag/gb
