7,519 families affected by Typhoon ‘Neneng’

A total of 7,519 families or 27,914 individuals were affected by Typhoon “Neneng,” the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported Monday, Oct. 17.

In its latest situation report, a total of 199 families or 721 individuals were brought to 32 evacuation centers, while 86 families or 277 individuals were aided outside evacuation centers.

NDRRMC said a total of 160 barangays were affected by the typhoon.
