Shear line, easterlies to bring rains on Tuesday

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms on Tuesday, Nov. 8, due to easterlies or localized thunderstorms, the weather bureau said.

In its 4:00 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said there is a possibility of flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will also prevail over Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Region due to shear line and easterlies.

Flash floods or landslides may also occur during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, PAGASA weather forecaster Obet Badrina said no weather disturbance is currently being monitored.

“Posible nga po hanggang weekend, maliit pa rin ang tiyansa na magkaroon tayo ng bagyo,” he said.
