YG Entertainment to hold audition in PH

YG Entertainment on Tuesday, March 7, announced that it will hold global auditions for aspiring K-pop idols in Manila.

The South Korean music company on-site auditions will take place at the Zero Studio in Quezon City on April 16.


The audition is open to anyone who is born between 2004 and 2012, and will choose one from the following categories: vocal, rap, dance, and appearance. 

For those aspiring idols who will audition for the vocal and rap category, they must showcase their skills within one minute and without music.

In the dance category, on the other hand, applicants will also perform one song within a minute with music and must provide their own music on their cell phone.

Applicants can fill out the form online on https://linktr.ee/ygaudition during the pre-application period that will run from March 7 to April 9.

They can also sign up at the venue before 2:00 p.m. on the audition day.

Individuals who submit their applications will know their specific audition slot for April 16 through email on April 12.

YG Entertainment is known for being the home of some well-known K-pop artists including Big Bang, Blackpink, Winner, Akdong Musician, Sechs Kies, and Treasure. -ag
