The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday, March 17, said that it has extended for another week the dry run of the exclusive motorcycle lane along Commonwealth Avenue.

In an update, the MMDA said this is to give motorists more time to familiarize themselves with the policy along with the ongoing information drive for it.

“We opt to continue the dry run of the exclusive motorcycle lane along Commonwealth Ave. from Elliptical Road to Doña Carmen and vice versa until March 26,” MMDA Acting Chairperson Atty. Romando Artes said.

“With another week of dry run, we hope to inform more motorists to avoid confusion before full implementation,” he added.

It was also extended as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) continues with its patching works along the said road to “help in lessening accidents.” – cf
