OCTA: NCR positivity rate up 14.3%; deaths and hospitalizations still low

The OCTA Research said the weekly positivity rate of the National Capital Region (NCR) has climbed to 14.3% as of Thursday, April 27.

This is an increase from the previous week’s 9%.

As of April 28, the Department of Health has recorded 852 new cases in the country.

Despite the continuous rise in the number of cases, the report still showed a low rate of deaths and hospitalization in the NCR at 22%.

OCTA has also released its positivity projection with NCR’s figures expected to increase up to 20%. –ag
