Mindanao and Palawan will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Monday, May 1.

In its 4:00 a.m. bulletin, the weather bureau warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains in Mindanao and Palawan.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Mindanao will experience slight to moderate seas due to light to moderate winds blowing northeast to north.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds heading east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.

The temperature ranges from 25.9 °C to 35.6 °C.
