“The Department of Health (DOH) reported 397 new cases, zero deaths, 531 recoveries. About 65 of the new cases are from the National Capital Region (NCR), projecting 300 to 400 new cases the next day (July 8),” OCTA Research Group fellow Dr. Guido David said over Twitter on Friday.

To date, the country’s overall tally of COVID-19 infections has reached 4,167,259 with 6,637 active cases.
