DOTr: Malolos-Clark segment of NSCR 48.08% complete

The Malolos-Clark segment of the North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project is 48.08% complete, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) reported Friday, Aug. 11.

Once completed, the 53-kilometer Malolos-Clark Railway Project aims to cut the trip to and from Malolos, Bulacan to Clark International Airport to 30 minutes from 1 hour and 30 minutes.

It is expected to serve 340,000 passengers daily.

The NSCR or the Clark-Calamba Railway will run from Calamba, Laguna to New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac.

The construction began in 2019 and is expected to be fully operational in 2029.
