The Land Transportation Office (LTO) issued anew another show cause order against the owner of a sports utility vehicle (SUV) which was involved in another road rage incident in Valenzuela.

The viral road rage, which involved another gun-toting incident, happened last Aug. 19.

LTO chief Atty. Vigor Mendoza II said the show cause order aimed at identifying who was driving the SUV when the incident happened.

According to Mendoza, the registered owner of the vehicle is a resident of Bulacan and was asked to submit a notarized affidavit and supporting documents to explain.

Mendoza said the swift action of LTO should serve as “warning to all the motorists, especially those with anger management issues.”

Pending the result of the investigation, Mendoza said the registration of the SUV with license plate NBB 3135 is suspended for 90 days.

The LTO official said the agency is coordinating with the local government of Valenzuela, police, and barangay officials in the area.
