3 high-value targets yield P1.7-M ‘shabu’ in Cavite

Police and agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested three high-value individuals (HVI) and seized suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1.7 million in a sting operation in Cavite province on Thursday.

In a statement on Friday, the PDEA identified the suspects as Usman Unaid alias “Jamal,” 54; Aguil Asaral, 50; and Camille Roda Ismael, 41, all residents of Sitio Tramo Silangan, Barangay Halayhay, Tanza, Cavite.

The three were arrested in a buy-bust at the parking lot of a mall in Brgy. Tejero in General Trias City.

Confiscated during the operation were more or less 250 grams of suspected shabu.

The suspects will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
