The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is honored to receive two awards from GovMedia 2025, an institution that recognizes outstanding government projects in Asia. The eGovDX platform has been recognized as the Digital Transformation of the Year, while the eGovPH Super App was named the E-Governance Project of the Year.

“These projects stem from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s marching order to streamline government services by automating essential processes. They manifest our people’s world-class talent that is geared to serve the interest of the Filipinos, especially in the underserved areas. It is a testament to Filipinos’ sheer ingenuity,” Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda said.

eGovDX integrates government platforms to enable secure data sharing across agencies. To date, it has recorded more than 480 million transactions across 1,000 government systems.

Meanwhile, the eGovPH Super App is a one-stop digital platform allowing Filipinos to conveniently access government services whenever they need it, wherever they are.

This innovation marks a great stride for the administration’s intent to simplify bureaucratic processes and empower the masses, especially small business owners, to avail of government services at the comfort of their homes.

“Our efforts are meant to curb red tape, avoid delays, and make services easily accessible to our kababayan[s] in the digital age,” Secretary Aguda explained.

“Hindi na pipila nang mahaba, hindi na maiinitan. Kahit nasa bahay, pagseserbisyohan ka ng gobyerno,” he added.

The DICT underscores that expanding digital platforms and strengthening connectivity, through digital platforms like eGovDX and eGovPH, are vital to bridging the gap between the government and its citizens, especially in remote areas.

By digitizing government services and connecting people to the internet, the DICT is poised to make government presence felt anywhere in the Philippines.

“This is the essence of Digital Bayanihan. Under President Marcos’ Bagong Pilipinas, the DICT is committed to giving access to government services, opportunity and education, ensuring [that] no Filipino is left behind,” he concluded. (PR)
