The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday announced the launching of the “PNP Services” mobile application to make the agency’s processes and services more accessible to the public.

The mobile app, initially available for Android phones via Google Play Store, is an innovative and centralized platform that offers a variety of services for the public. It allows the public to reach the PNP easily, view information on PNP services and processes such as for the processing of firearms license, License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF), police clearance, Pulis News Network, and links to various offices or units of the PNP.

“Pupuwedeng makita niyo doon ang mga official websites and official social media accounts ng ating mga PNP units. Nandun din ‘yong mga telepono. Nandoon rin naka-incorporate ‘yong on how to use the 911 mechanism. Nandun na rin ‘yong tumatayong mga e-sumbong [complaint] system na yan. So, any apps pati ‘yong mga frontline services ng PNP ay nandoon na,” PNP Spokesperson PBGEN. Jean Fajardo said in a press briefing at Camp Crame in Quezon City.

“So, we want to announce sa ating mga kababayan na meron na lang single na PNP services na pupuwede nilang i-access if they need any assistance or help from the PNP,” she added.

Fajardo said the PNP is now studying the possibility of integrating the PNP Service mobile app into the eGov PH super app, the one-stop digital platform that lets Filipinos access government services whenever and wherever they need to.
