PNP willing to help military validate terrorists’ entry report

MANILA — The Philippine National Police (PNP) is more than willing to help the military validate the presence of 40 terrorists who allegedly managed to enter the country.

This was stressed by PNP head Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa in Radyo Pilipinas report Monday.

Earlier, the Western Mindanao Command announced that they have received a report claiming that some 40 terrorists have entered the country via the maritime route.

And while stressing the PNP’s willingness to help, Dela Rosa strongly doubts the report, adding that the country has significantly tightened its security measures. (Priam Nepomuceno/PNA)
