11 nabbed in Cainta drug den raid

MANILA — Police authorities arrested a wanted drug lord and 10 others during a raid on a suspected drug den in Cainta, Rizal, the Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) said.

Rizal Police, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s (PDEA) office in Calabarzon, conducted the raid on the suspected drug den in Dulong Parola in Barangay San Andres, also known as “Little Tawi-Tawi”, around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police had a search warrant issued by San Pablo Regional Trial Court Executive Judge Agripino Morgan against the supposed drug lord, Daniel E. Cabra Jr., alias June.

Captured with Cabra were Bernie “Nadie” Tenedero, Jun Abeleda , Jamuel Eligue Calapotot, Martin Jetalado Baluya, Lanie Rafol , Maricel Soriano, Ednalyn Calumpiano, Mary Amor Lingat, Jayson Zaidey delos Santos, and Jonnel “Bunoy” Arendon.

Seized from them were 23 pieces of small plastic sachets of suspected “shabu”, weighing more or less 20 grams with a street value of PHP136,000, four small plastic sachets of dried marijuana leaves with a street value of PHP2,000, and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Also confiscated during the raid were two Caliber .38 revolvers, both loaded with live ammunition. (PNA)
