Isolated rain showers over most parts of PH Saturday

MANILA — Most parts of the country will experience isolated rain showers, the state weather bureau said Saturday.

The southwest monsoon affecting the western section of northern Luzon will cause cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Ilocos region, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds will prevail over the northern section of northern Luzon. Its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
