MANILA — A policeman was arrested for allegedly threatening a senior citizen with his service firearm in Parañaque City Wednesday.
In a report, the Southern Police District (SPD) said it arrested PO2 Gadie Guarino, 40, who is assigned at the Police Regional Office 4-A (Calabarzon), and a resident of Purok 4, 14 St., Silverio Compound, Barangay San Isidro, Parañaque City.
Guarino was arrested by policemen following an incident involving Alberto Candion, 65, also of Purok 4, 14 St., Barangay San Isidro.
Personnel of the Parañaque City Police together with a barangay tanod responded to the gun-toting and physical injuries complaint of the victim against the suspect.
During background check, it was found out that suspect has an outstanding warrant of arrest for murder issued by Judge Eduardo Israel Tanguanco of the Cavite Regional Trial Court Branch 89 in Bacoor with no bail recommended.
Policemen recovered one .9 mm caliber with holster and two magazines with 19 live ammunitions.
