PAF allots P18.4-M for UH-ID helicopters maintenance

MANILA — The Armed Forces of the Philippines, through the Philippine Air Force Bids and Awards Committee, is allocating PHP18.4 million to buy spare parts for the maintenance of its four UH-ID “Huey” combat utility helicopters.

The parts are for UH-ID helicopters with tail numbers 370, 929, 8400, and 8478.

In a bid bulletin posted on the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System, bid opening and submission is slated for Oct. 10, around 9 a.m. at the PAF Procurement Center Building in Villamor Air Base, Pasay City.

“The Philippine Air Force reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Section 41 of RA 9184 and its IRR, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders,” PAF Bids and Awards Committee chair Brig. Gen. Ferynl G. Buca said in same bid bulletin.
