AFP receives 79 percent satisfaction rating in SWS survey

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has received a high satisfaction rating in the Social Weather Station (SWS) survey.

The SWS survey has shown that 79 percent of Filipinos are satisfied with the AFP’s performance while 5 percent are not satisfied, and 15 percent are neutral.

The AFP’s quick response to calamities and disasters, and their victory against the Maute group in Marawi City on May 2017 has gained the confidence of the Filipinos in its performance.

In general, Luzon has given a satisfaction rating of 76 percent, while Visayas, Mindanao and Metro Manila have given 81 percent satisfaction rating.

1,200 respondents participated in the SWS survey from December 13 to December 16, 2019.
