BOC on full alert to stop entry of new swine flu virus

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) is on full alert due to the possible entry of the new swine flu virus that can be transmitted to humans.

BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero has ensured that they are closely monitoring the agricultural products or food from China to prevent the virus from entering the Philippines. He pointed out that the meat products undergo stringent examination before they are released from the port. Commissioner Guerrero has also ordered all ports to closely examine pork products entering the country.
