Cascolan not effecting ‘major revamp’ in PNP

Police LtGen. Camilo Cascolan clarified on Friday that there will be no major reshuffling within the Philippine National Police (PNP) under his leadership, following the upward movement of senior police officials on Thursday including PLt.Gen. Guillermo Eleazar and PLt.Gen. Cesar Binag who now occupy the second and third highest positions in the organization.

“I am not expecting a major revamp considering that the people who are in position right now are actually people who we can really trust,” Cascolan assured during the Laging Handa Public Briefing.

Cascolan added that there are short-term plans for innovations in the organization. Internal cleansing will be strengthened as well to restore the trust and confidence of the public in the PNP.
