DOH: Plans underway for COVID-19 booster rollout

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has ramped up the vaccination of persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) as 61.5% or a total of 75,970 of the 123,499 PDLs in jail facilities run by the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) have already received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccines, while 33% or 40,875 have received their second dose or are fully vaccinated.

Boracay aims to waive RT-PCR testing for fully vaxxed visitors

All tourism workers and eligible residents of Boracay will be fully vaccinated in one month, and this means that as early as November, fully vaccinated individuals may visit the island without having to undergo COVID-19 testing.
