Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, and Western Visayas due to the southwest monsoon or “habagat” that is being enhanced by Typhoon “Chedeng”, the state weather bureau said Saturday, June 10.
Tropical Storm “Chedeng” has maintained its strength on Wednesday morning, June 7, but remains unlikely to directly bring heavy rainfall and far from the Philippine landmass, the weather bureau said.
Two weather systems outside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) are being monitored by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
