Several areas in Luzon will continue to get dampened with rain showers due to the low pressure area (formerly Tropical Depression Amang) last tracked 40 km. southwest of Iba, Zambales, the weather bureau said Friday, April 14.

Tropical Depression (TD) “Amang” weakened into a low pressure area (LPA) on Thursday morning, April 13, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Classes for Thursday, April 13, have been suspended in some areas due to inclement weather brought by Tropical Depression “Amang.”

More areas in Luzon have been placed under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 on Wednesday morning, April 12, as Tropical Depression ‘Amang’ maintains strength as it meanders over the Lagonoy Gulf.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 has been hoisted over several areas in Luzon and Visayas on Tuesday morning, April 11, as Tropical Depression "Amang" accelerates towards Catanduanes coast.

The weather bureau on Monday, April 10, said some areas in the country will experience rains due to two weather systems.
