Parts of the country will experience some rains on Saturday, Feb. 26, brought by the shear line at the eastern section of central and southern Luzon and by the northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan,” in the northern portion and the rest of central Luzon.
Most parts of the archipelago will continue to experience rains due to the trough of a low-pressure area (LPA), the shear line affecting the eastern section of southern Luzon, and the Visayas, as well as the northeast monsoon affecting northern and central Luzon.
The trough of a low-pressure area (LPA) is seen to affect Mindanao on Saturday (Feb. 19) while the northeast monsoon or "amihan" will reign over northern and central Luzon.
Most parts of the country will continue to experience isolated rain showers, with two weather systems expected to bring rains over parts of Luzon, the weather bureau said Wednesday, Feb. 16.
