A low pressure area (LPA) over the Pacific may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) either on the 23rd or 24th of December, the weather bureau confirmed on Monday.
Several areas in Palawan are still under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 3 as Typhoon Odette maintains strength before it makes landfall in the northern or central portion of the province this afternoon.
Malacaῆang on Monday (Dec. 13) said the government is “closely monitoring” Tropical Depression Odette which is forecast to enter the Philippines on Tuesday (Dec. 14) evening.
The shear line affecting southern Luzon and the northeast monsoon or “amihan” affecting northern and central Luzon will bring cloudy skies and some rains to most parts of the country on Saturday.
