LRT line 1 travels to Cavite soon

The national government, with the Light Rail Management Corporation (LRMC) on its side, envisions to add 8 stations to Light Rail Transit (LRT) line 1, reaching Niog Station in Bacoor, Cavite under the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project. With this plan, the estimated count of passengers of the train every two and a half minutes climbs to a thousand. Upon completion, the program will shrink two-hour travel from Bacoor to Baclaran, to just half an hour. To make the benefit available to the public the soonest, piling works are conducted simultaneously in five areas covered by the extension.
